At one of the reunions I had the good fortune of meeting the test operator that I worked with here.
Me: Hi, remember me?
Him: No.
Me: We worked together on testing the XLR-11 engine after it was boosted to 8000 lbs thrust.
Him: Oh yes, test stand A3.
Me: Yes, remember when we had visitors and you pressurized the main storage tanks and ran the engine for
over 25 minutes. The phone was jumping off the wall as Denville wanted to know what the heck we were doing?
Him: No.
Me: Do you remember when........?
Him: No I don't remember that either.
Me: Do you remember the guy that would go in to the test stand while the engine was running and check it for hot spots
and leaks?
Him: Yes I do, HE SURE WAS CRAZY!
Me: Well, at least you remember something about me.
