	Unusual Places or FS9 Goof's

ALASKA......

Looks like everyone here has their own airport, you can see six of them and a seaplane base in this picture.

The lake which is also a seaplane base is 300ft/msl. The strip to the left, 8AK8, is 350ft/msl. But the field in the center, 9AK8, Wolf Track, is only 90ft/msl???

I checked and these elevations are correct. I would love to know what the terrain really looks like.

Panning around I discovered an underworld.

This is a satellite image of the area submitted by Helmair.

To the north I found a 1000 foot strip, 2AK7, Bald Mountain, perched on top of a masa that strangely fits the airport.
If you park here bring climbing gear to go anywhere. Take off is a breeze, just roll off the edge.
