After Completing Preflight Inspection
1. BAGGAGE ETC.. PROPERLY SECURED.
2. SEAT BELTS FASTENED.
3. FUEL SELECTOR - Fullest Tank.
4. CIRCUIT BREAKERS - Check
5. MASTER SWITCH ON.
6. FUEL PUMP ON.
7. ANTI-COLISION LIGHT ON
8. ADJUST CARB ICE DETECTOR
ENGINE START
1. CARB HEAT - OFF
2. MIXTURE - RICH
3. PROPELLER - HIGH RPM
4. THROTTLE - Pump 2-3 Strokes, Set at 1/4 Open.
5. PRIMER - LOCKED
6. BRAKES - SET
7. FUEL PRESSURE - Check
8. CLEAR PROP
9. IGNITION - START, Set Throttle at 1000 RPM.
10. OIL PRESSURE - Check
11. RADIOS - ON, TRANSPONDER - STANDBY
12. FUEL PUMP - OFF
BEFORE TAKE-OFF
1. BRAKES - SET
2. DOORS - LATCHED AND SECURE
3. CONTROLS - FREE AND CORRECT
4. ANNUNCIATOR PANEL - TEST.
5. THROTTLE - 2000 RPM
6. MAGNETOS - Not to exceed 175 RPM drop
7. CARS HEAT - CHECK
8. PROPELLER - Exercise, Do not allow RPM to drop below 1500
9. GUAGES - VACUUM, FUEL PRESS, AMMETER, OIL PRESS & TEMP.
10. INSTRUMENTS - SET
11. TRIM - SET
READY FOR TAKE-OFF
1. FUEL PUMP - ON
2. TRANSFONDER - ON
3. FLAPS - 10 deqrees.
BEFORE LANDING
LANDING LIGHT - On
MIXTURE - Rich
ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP - On
FUEL SELECTOR - Proper tank
CARB HEAT - As required below 2100 RPM
INSTRUMENTS - Check
FLAPS - As required below 125 MPH
PROPELLER - High RPM (On final after power reduction)
AFTER LANDING
FLAPS - Retracted
LANDING LIGHT - Off
CARB HEAT - Off
ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP - Off
TRANSPONDER - Off
STOPPING ENGINE
RADIOS/SWITCHES - Off
PROPELLER - High RPM
MIXTURE - IDLE CUT-OFF
ROTATING BEACON - Off
MASTER SWITCH - Off
IGNITION - Off
CHOCK / SECURE AIRCRAFT
CRITICAL AIR SPEEDS (IAS)
BEST RATE OF CLIMB - 105 MPH

The real Air Speed indicator displayed MPH instead of Knots.
Therefore all speeds are in Miles Per Hour.
